Reiki Sessions

Reiki is a Japanese energy technique that promotes relaxation, stress reduction, and healing. It is based on the concept that a life force energy flows through all living beings.  The common goal is to balance the body's energy systems by supporting healing on multiple levels (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual), and foster a deep sense of peace and well being.  Each modality brings a unique vibrational quality to the healing process, allowing practitioners and clients to connect with different aspects of life force energy and their personal healing journey.

During a Reiki session,  a practitioner channels universal energy to the client, helping to restore balance and well-being.  When a clients energy is low or imbalanced, it can lead to stress, illness, and emotional disturbances.  Reiki is non invasive and sessions can last 60 to 90 minutes depending on the modality and the client's needs.  Clients typically experiences deep relaxation, a sense of warmth, and possibly visual or emotional releases.

Chakra Balancing is a healing technique aimed at restoring the natural energy flow within the body's seven main energy centres known as chakras.  Each chakra corresponds to specific emotional, physical, and spiritual functions, and when one or more are blocked or imbalanced, it can manifest as physical illness, emotional distress, or a sense of disconnection.  The goal of chakra balancing is to realign these energy centres, ensuring a smooth and harmonious flow of energy throughout the body, promoting overall well-being.  In a Reiki session, no matter the modality (such as Usui Reiki, Celtic Reiki, or other forms) chakra balancing can be easily integrated.  The Practitioner directs healing energy to the chakras, either by hovering hands above or lightly placing them on the body.  The universal life force energy that Reiki channels works to clear blockages, harmonize the energy flow, and replenish depleted chakras.  Some practitioners may use additional tools like crystals, sound healing , or visualization techniques to enhance the balancing process.  The session typically begins with a scan of the energy centres to identify imbalances, then the practitioner focuses on those chakras that need attention, promoting holistic healing.
